RE: 28th Annual SWAHAP Medical Education Congress
On November 2 and 3, 2007, the Southwest Association of Hispanic American Physicians, in joint sponsorship with Sierra Providence Health Network, will host the 28th Annual SWAHAP Medical Education Congress. In past years, over 200 physicians, over 100 nurses and other health care professionals from throughout the West Texas, New Mexico and Northern Mexico area have attended our conference. This year we expect an attendance of 300 health care professionals.
At present, the planning committee is busy selecting and confirming guest faculty members based on current needs assessments and past evaluations.
According to Texas Medical Association, Sierra Providence Health Network CME Committee in conjunction with the planning committee chaired by Emilio Gonzalez-Ayala, MD holds full responsibility for the planning, development and implementing of the educational activity. On behalf of the planning committee, I would like to invite you and your company to join us in support of this educational activity. You may choose to support this activity by providing an unrestricted educational grant(s) and/or by purchasing a $900 exhibit space. For your records, the SWAHAP tax identification number is 74-2128183.
If you are interested in providing an educational grant, please contact Ida Waide at 915-577-6106 so you may discuss the amount and arrange to sign the letters of agreement, as required by the TMA guidelines. Confirmed acknowledgment of your support prior to brochure printing (scheduled for September 2006) will be published in the brochure and/or in the participation handout.
Completion of all paperwork by the desired date, your company name will be listed on the conference brochure. Exhibit space(s) will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Acknowledgment of your support will not be publicized until letters of agreement are signed. For information on exhibit spaces please call Norma Leticia Cruz at 532-9494.
The exhibit space will consist of a skirted and draped six foot table and two chairs. Arrangements for additional space, electrical connections, or other special needs can be noted on the exhibit form. Please complete the exhibitor registration and return it to my attention at the address listed or it may be faxed to 915-577-6918.
